Our goal at North Sound Oral & Facial Surgery is to ensure that you are safe and comfortable throughout the entire treatment process, even the times you aren't in our office. The time before and after your surgery is just as important as the time you spend in our office in regards to achieving optimal results. To ensure you are properly prepared for surgery and to take care of yourself during recovery, we provide you with pre- and post-operative instructions.

Your pre-operative instructions will inform you of the steps you need to take prior to your procedure, such as discontinuing eating, wearing short sleeves, etc. These help ensure we can perform your treatment as planned. Your post-operative instructions contain more detailed guidelines of how to navigate through recovery, such as how long you should rest before resuming normal activity, what foods to stay away from, and how often you should take pain medication. It's vital that you review and understand all relevant instructions before your treatment.
